Adopt our Animals

If you would like to adopt one of our animals to join your family, please contact us and we will be in touch!

Boo, the Citrine Cockatoo

Boo is a citron crested cockatoo with a sweet temperament. She loves pets and snuggles, but is a one person bird, so should be handled carefully by one person at a time so as not to overwhelm her. She’s typically very soft spoken, with “hi Boo” being her favorite thing to say, but she may shriek as she adjusts to her new home. Boo prefers women and would do best in a quiet home where she can have her own cage, ideally with at least one other bird already living there as she feels safest in a flock.

Dusty, the Goffin Cockatoo

Dusty is a Goffin cockatoo. She loves neck scratches and dancing, but can have a bit of an attitude. She doesn’t like to be handled, but may become more comfortable with it over time. Large objects scare her and may cause her to yell. She’s an escape artist, but almonds are her favorite snack and she’ll always return to her cage if you put one in her bowl. Dusty would do best in her own cage, preferably as the only bird in the house.

Petey, the Timneh African grey.

Petey is a young Timneh African Grey. He is a curious boy with a lot to say! He’s very food-motivated and can get territorial, but is very sweet when he’s out of his cage.

Josie, the Congo African Grey

Josephine (Josie) is a senior Congo African Grey. She’s very talkative and outgoing, and loves to have her head scratched. She does well with cats, kids and other birds.

Azur, the Blue and Gold Macaw

Azur is a blue and gold macaw. He likes to be held and prefers women. He can be loud (as is typical for macaws) but is a sweet guy! He has some PTSD from losing his previous owner, but this has not affected his ability to form new relationships.

Esau, the Congo African grey

Esau is a Congo African grey. He’s extremely smart, with several voices he alternates through to make many words and sounds. He gets territorial but can be friendly outside of his cage. He prefers men and would do best as the only bird in the home.

Parakeets

Budgies (parakeets) are great starter birds. They do best in pairs and don’t create a high level of noise. We have about 20 available in various colors, both males and females. We can help you choose which would work best for you!

Cockatiels

Cockatiels are good starter birds. They typically don’t make too much noise and are often friendly and outgoing. We have 7 cockatiels available, all are males. We can help you choose which would work best for you!

Java Finches

Java Finches are quiet, mild mannered birds. Our two female finches are shy and don’t like to be handled, but are beautiful additions to the home. We would prefer the two be adopted together.

Mikey, the Silk Back Bearded Dragon

Mikey is a silk back bearded dragon with metabolic bone disease. He is very food motivated and curious, but tends to lunge at hands as he thinks everything is food.

Shoebox, the Bearded Dragon

Shoebox is a bearded dragon who was found in a shoebox. He can be a grump, but it’s all an act - he’s really a sweetie.

Stubby, the Bearded Dragon

Stubby is a bearded dragon whose tail rotted due to neglect. He is having it amputated soon. Stubby is calm and sweet, and otherwise healthy.

Ball Pythons

We have 5 ball pythons available for adoption! Ball pythons are typically sweet, docile, and easy to handle. Each of our ball pythons has its own personality, so we recommend coming to meet them to determine which is best for you.

Richard, the Savannah Monitor Lizard

Richard is a Savannah monitor lizard of an unknown age. He can be territorial and sometimes aggressive. This type of reptile is high maintenance and requires a large amount of space, so only seasoned reptile owners will be considered.
